Junior Growth Manager
We are looking for a Junior Growth Manager who is happier in a dataset than in a slide deck. You will sit next to our founder and work directly with the whole team, spend real money on real campaigns, and be the person who notices the thing in the numbers that nobody was looking for.
Our games reach players in over a hundred countries, and every one of those players shows up in our data as an install, a cohort, a retention curve, and a feedback loop for us to improve. Your job is to turn that into decisions: which channel gets more budget on Monday, which country we open next, how a game can grow.
What you will do
- Run paid user acquisition campaigns on Meta, Google, AppLovin, TikTok, and Unity, with support at first and your own budgets within a few months.
- Pull and read performance data daily in Singular, Looker, and BigQuery, and build the report you wish existed instead of asking someone for it.
- Analyse player cohorts: retention curves, conversion to payer, and LTV by source and country, then tell us what changed and why.
- Track CPI, ROAS, retention, LTV, and payback across our games, and turn each into a recommendation with a number attached.
- Design tests, on channels, campaigns, creative, countries, and bids, and call the result honestly, including when it is inconclusive.
- Work with the game teams so what you find in the data reaches the people who can change the game.
- Take a channel or a game off the team's plate and run it yourself.
What we are looking for
- 0 to 2 years of experience. A quantitative degree helps, a portfolio of things you actually analysed helps more.
- You have written SQL, Python, or R, or built something in a spreadsheet that nobody asked you for.
- You can tell the difference between a number that moved and a number that matters.
- You play games, and you are curious about why people spend money in them.
- You communicate effectively in English, and you can explain a finding to anyone in the team.
- You are in Berlin or ready to move here. We work from the office together.
Nice to have
- BigQuery, Looker Studio, or any BI tool.
- Any exposure to mobile attribution: Singular, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or SKAdNetwork.
- A statistics course you actually remember.
- You have run ads with your own money, on any platform, for anything.
